We all know life is supposed to be about the journey.

Yet, we all know how easy to get caught up in attaining future goals.

Even though I know that it’s good or productive to think, “I’ll be happy when”, and that if I want to be happy, I need to be happy now, I still have the thought that life will be “better when”…

It’s a little different but not really.

Goals really are much more easily attained when we aren’t thinking about them so much.

That might sound odd, since we have continually been told to visualize our goals, and the idea that what we focus on expands.

The problem is most of the time we are not actually thinking about our goal, we are thinking about the fact that we don’t have that goal yet.

We are focused on the gap from where we are and where we want to be.

Focusing on the gap creates resistance

What we focus on does expand and by focusing on the gap we make sure that gap stays exactly where it is.

I hope you enjoyed Greg’s video. I first found Greg on the Road to Ripped podcast.

I love Greg’s simplistic, no bs approach to diet and fitness.
